FootQuery

Changelog

Newest first. FootQuery is in private beta, so things move quickly.

2026

  • Live match hubs

A live hub refreshes about every 30 seconds, shows "updated N seconds ago" and a ticking clock, flashes on goals and red cards and puts the score in the browser tab title. Live mode gives a big score, an event ticker and live stats for watching next to a stream. Live stats split by half, with player of the match and the top 3 ratings. Optional browser notifications for goals and red cards while the tab is open. The Live now list shows the last goal per row, followed teams first and a league filter.

  • New data

Team xG per match and per season (API-Football's model, only matches with xG counted, never as 0) and expected vs actual goals per match. Top rated players for a team or a league, with a minutes floor. Injuries and suspensions for a whole league. Coach history from the provider's list, with gaps noted. Champions League and Europa League leaders now count the main tournament only, qualifying removed.

  • Player prop research

Research, never tips. A line stepper on hit rate answers (move 2+ to 3+, last 5, 10 and all side by side), one tap "Starts only" and "60+ minutes", question templates for common props, and a pre-match prop sheet for a fixture with likely starters' hit rates for shots on target, shots, fouls and cards. Bet365 pre-match player odds show as data with implied probability, not a prediction. Public player props pages at /props with every match listed.

  • Share and alerts

Share answer on any widget: a link, save as image, or make it public on the web. Shared links show the match list without signing in. Alert me when this changes runs a daily check and sends an in-app notification when the numbers change (Pro, free during the beta).

  • Verified answers

A /verified page lists answers hand-checked against official sources. The same checks run before every deploy.

2026

  • All time and career player totals

"Eriksen all time goals" now reads every season he played (120 goals, 2010/11 to 2025/26) with one point per season, instead of this season only. Career counts like "how many hat tricks" accept looser wording and typos.

  • Up to 10-season trends

"Messi goals per season, last 5 seasons" draws one point per season from checked season totals, for players and teams. "Last 10 seasons" means seasons.

  • Last N matches where it happened

"Haaland's last 5 matches where he scored 2 or more" searches back through a career until it finds N real matches.

  • Head to head over years

Team head to head over a multi-year window: wins, draws, losses, goals and the dated meetings, with a 10-year win race chart.

  • League leaders and title races

Top scorers, assists and cards as a ranking table with a chart, and a league race widget with title and relegation lines, crests and zone bands.

  • Live match hubs

A team name opens its live match first, else the next one. Hubs refresh while open, every 30 seconds while lineups are due. Short scoreboard codes like FCK or MCI ARS work, and Danish codes and nicknames resolve everywhere.

  • Fixtures by day

"Matches played yesterday", "last Saturday" and "3 days ago" resolve to a real day.

  • Move to new widget

A widget with Back and Forward history can split its current view into its own widget. The original steps back, the copy lands beside it.

  • Team crests

Team crests sit at the top right of stat tiles and comparisons, show both clubs in head to head, and appear in phone rows and match lists.

  • Phone folders

Folders open in place with the top bar staying put, a Move to picker, one level of folders inside folders, a tile previewing the members, and questions asked inside a folder land in that folder.

  • Data usage meter and cost estimates

Data today shows on the account page and menus. Each answer lists how many fresh lookups it needed, and a big question shows an estimate with a Run it card first. Fixtures are fetched in batches, and reopening a saved answer is free.

  • Compares show the real gap

Bars and radar in a two-subject compare scale to the compared values, so 41 against 17 looks like more than double.

  • Smaller

Any season by name or range. Refresh a widget without a new question. Desktop mouse wheel scrolls tables and match logs inside a widget instead of zooming the canvas. A board that cannot load says why instead of showing empty.

2026

  • Source data view

Every widget shows the exact matches and the math behind its numbers, with matches not counted and the reason. Missing stats are skipped, never counted as zero.

  • New question types

Home and away tables, games by date, matchweeks, team stat rankings, odds markets for one market, stadiums, a player's clubs and half-time stats.

  • League leaders

League-wide top scorers, assists, yellow and red cards as a ranking table with the league logo.

  • Tables you can sort and export

Sort any column and export data widgets as CSV.

  • Phone

Swipe right to open a row, swipe left to reveal Delete. Sheets close by dragging down like on iOS. A drop band moves a widget out of a folder or back from the trash.

  • Homepage and account

A new homepage with what you can ask, pricing and trademark notes, plus an interface polish pass over the account, sign-in, menus, dialogs and the match, team and player hubs.

  • Speed and limits

A faster route for simple questions and daily usage limits (October 8).

2026

  • Accounts and profile pictures

A reworked register flow, flows for free users, an account page and profile picture upload (September 21).

  • Phone rework

A vertical feed of compact rows, an opened-widget view, long-press drag to reorder, board search, folders with suggested names and a floating ask bar (September 7 to 11).
