Terms of Service

1. Using FootQuery

By creating an account or using FootQuery, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 16 years old. Accounts are currently invite-only or subject to a limited free-question allowance; we can adjust, pause, or end that allowance, or the beta itself, at any time.

2. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account.
• One person, one account - don't share logins or automate mass account creation.
• Linking Discord is optional and can be disconnected at any time from your account page.
• If you upload a profile picture, it's stored on our own server, not a third party - see the Privacy Policy for where.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, mass-query, or automate requests against FootQuery outside normal product use.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, invite gating, or free-question caps.
• Use the product to harass, spam, or attack any person or system.
• Reverse engineer or resell access to the service without our written permission.

4. Beta disclaimer

FootQuery is provided "as is" during this beta, without warranties of any kind. Football data, odds, and AI-generated answers can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong - nothing in the product is betting or financial advice, and you're responsible for how you use it. We work to keep the underlying data accurate and sourced, but we don't guarantee uptime, accuracy, or that any specific feature will keep working the same way as the product evolves.

5. Third-party services

FootQuery relies on other services to work: OpenAI (to interpret your questions), API-Football (match and player data), Discord (optional account linking), and Resend (account emails). Your use of FootQuery is also subject to those providers' own terms where relevant.

6. Ending your account

You can stop using FootQuery at any time. We can suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, including abusive use of the free-trial allowance or the AI features.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FootQuery and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the product, including decisions made based on its data or answers.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes, especially moving out of beta. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
